Tioga uses a Rotating Schedule where periods are the same length, 51 minutes every day. Your student will attend every class every day, generally in the same order, but classes meet at a different period each day. For example, a class that meets first period on Monday will meet sixth period on Tuesday; Monday’s second period meets at first period on Tuesday; etc. Research has shown that students perform better in some courses at different times of the day and rotation allows all students to access courses at their peak learning time.
