High School Graduation Requirments
At Tioga, we aim to ensure that every student is well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of high school and beyond. We are dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching educational environment that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to excel. Our comprehensive curriculum, experienced educators, and diverse extracurricular activities are all designed to help students meet and exceed graduation requirements, fostering a lifelong love of learning and a strong foundation for future success.
A total of 230 credits must be earned. Normally five (5) credits are granted for successfully (D or better) completing each semester of each course.
- By the end of 9th grade, a student should have completed 60 credits
- By the end of 10th grade, a student should have completed 120 credits
- By the end of the 11th grade, a student should have completed 180 credit
At Tioga, students have the opportunity to earn at most 30 credits before entering high school. Students can enroll in:
- Algebra 1 (8th Grade)
- Spanish 1 (7th and 8th Grade)
- Spanish 2 (8th Grade)
Enrollment in courses is not guaranteed.
