Enrichment opportunities
Tech Studio
In the Tech Studio, students are able to learn a variety of hands on technology training, such as 3-D printing, programming, and robotics. About the instructor: Mr. Contreras has worked in expanded learning program for three years, and is a student at Fresno City where he is majoring in Computer Science to become a computer programmer.
Animation Studio
In the Animation Studio, students are able to create their own original cartoons using different methods like drawing, stop motion, and computer animation. About the instructor: Mr. Juarez has worked in the expanded learning program for one year, and is a student at Fresno City where he is majoring in Health Science to become a paramedic.
Art Studio
In the Art Studio, students learn a variety of artistic skills, such as pencil art, charcoal, and painting. About the instructor: Ms. Hawkins has worked in the expanded learning program for one year, and is a student at Fresno City where she is majoring in Health to become a dental hygienist.
Recording Studio
In the Recording Studio, students are able to learn how to play guitar, drums or piano to create original music that they will perform and record using the latest equipment available. About the instructor: Mr. Ojeda has worked in expanded learning program programs for two years, and is a student at Fresno City where he is majoring in History to become a middle or high school teacher.
Auto Shop
In Auto Shop, students are able to learn many automotive skills by rebuilding engines, building model cars, and working on gas powered RC cars. About the instructor: Mr. Oliva has worked in our expanded learning program for one year, and is a student at Fresno City where he is majoring in Criminology to become a police officer.
Lego mania
In Lego Mania, students are able to create stop motion videos using digital cameras, computers and Legos. Students can also enjoy all of the latest video games or play air hockey or table tennis in our game room. About the instructor: Mr. JP has worked in expanded learning program for six years, and is currently shadowing doctors at St. Agnes. He has a B.S. in Exercise Science and is pursuing a Masters in the Physician Assistant Program.
Tioga Cheer Squad
Students who are on the Cheer Squad are taught cheer stunts and routines that they perform at athletic games and our annual cheer competition. About the instructor: Ms. Perez has worked in the after school program for three years, and is a student at Fresno State where she is majoring in English to become a high school teacher.
Tioga After School Sports League
In the Sports League, students are able to practice and learn the fundamentals of a variety of sports. About the instructor: Ms. Ford has worked in after school programs for two years, and is a student at Fresno City where he is majoring in Kinesiology to become a middle or high school teacher.
