Hello future 7th Grade Tomahawks! We are very excited for you to be attending Tioga Middle School, and we look forward to seeing you at our 7th Grade Orientation.
THIS IS THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR SEVENTH GRADERS
When: Friday, August 16, 2024 *

Who: All incoming 7th grade students
Where: Tioga Middle School, 3232 E Fairmont Ave, Fresno, CA 93726
Orientation will be separated into two blocks
Please attend your orientation block based on your last name

Our WEB Program will help you get off to a great start!
WHAT IS WEB?
WEB is a nationwide program designed to welcome and support 7th graders by connecting them with WEB Leaders, who are positive, responsible, hand-selected 8th graders. WEB Leaders will help you feel more comfortable as well as help you achieve success in your first year of middle school. Doesn’t that sound great? It is!
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
- SAVE THE DATE! You will not want to miss 7th grade orientation because you will get familiar with our campus, make new friends, and have fun!
- A day or two before orientation, you will receive a reminder phone call from your WEB Leader personally inviting you to orientation day and giving you the details of where to be and what time. The Leaders can also answer any questions you may have at that time. But, if you don’t get a call, don’t worry, please- still come! Maybe the Web Leader didn’t have the right number or couldn’t get ahold of you.
- You are encouraged not to bring backpacks, purses, bags or other like items as the day is quite active.
- Because the day is active, wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement
- Cell phone use is forbidden on this day. We want you to unplug and enjoy the day! Let the fun begin!
- This is a student only function
