Did you know Tioga is a Community School? At a Community School, we care deeply about supporting our students and families both in and out of the classroom. We offer a variety of services, including Adult Education (GED, college), clothing, counseling and therapy for parents, students, and families, food and groceries, health services (medical, dental, vision), support for homelessness, employment resources, mentoring, parenting classes, and tutoring. In the celebration of the completion of their middle school career! We wish our 8th graders the best of luck in high school and their future endeavors.

  • A-F: 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM
  • G-L: 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM
  • M-R: 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM
  • S-Z: 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM
  • Late Arrivals: 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM

We kindly invite you and your family to stay and enjoy a special treat and refreshments immediately following your promotion walk.

Dress Code:

Semi-Formal Attire. Tioga asks students to please honor the promotion dress code:

  • No T-shirts or Sweats
  • No Sliders or Crocs
  • 2” or thicker shoulder straps
  • Dresses/Skirts/Shorts must be fingertip in length or longer
  • No Midriff or Cleavage
Please Note: 8th graders who have been suspended between 4/28–6/12 or have been placed in ATS by Administration unfortunately, will not be allowed to walk at promotion. Please make smart choices.

No off-campus deliveries are allowed, including those from family members, friends, UberEats, DoorDash, GrubHub, etc. All deliveries will be turned away, and students may be subject to fees for any lost items.
